Diary of Events
The Chocolate Tailor sells direct to the public at farmers markets, craft and food fairs in Staffordshire, Derbyshire, Cheshire and Shropshire throughout the year. You can arrange to have your chocolates made and then pick them up from an event. However, the diary can change due to unforeseen circumstances, so please get in touch for further details.
2010 Events
Saturday 21 August
Please note, Clover Bank Farmers Market will not be open this month - back for September though.
The Chocolate Tailor will be at Alsager Farmers Market - more details to follow
Saturday 4 September
Today it's Rode Hall - a busy market with lots of choice for you farmers' market shoppers. There's food, drink and crafts - entertainment and a great atmosphere. Open from 9.30 - about 1.00 pm, but be early for the best choice as some stalls sell out.

Sunday 5 September
Abbey Leys Farmers market (FARMA assured) - call in and purchase your local produce and chocolates. Open at 10 am and usually finished by 1.30pm, this is an interesting market on a REAL farm

Saturday 11 September
The Farmers' Market at Sandbach - now the third one and showing good signs of success and lots of local support. A great range of local producers + get your fix of handmade chocolates. Do let me know if there is anything specific you would like and I will make it for you.
Sunday 12 September
Come along and support the September Gala fund raising event for the Cats' Protection Charity at Long Lane, Dalbury Lees, near Ashbourne. (DE6 5BJ for those of you with Satnav)

Monday 13 September
The Chocolate Tailor will be attending Derrington WI to give a talk and chocolate tasting.
Tuesday 14 September
The Moat House Hotel, Festival Park, Stoke on Trent will be hosing the finals of The Sentinel 'Win and Dream Wedding' competition. The 10 finalists will be invited to attend when the winners of the magnificent prize will be announced. As sponsor of wedding favour chocolates for the winners, The Chocolate Tailor will be attending.
Saturday 18 September
Clover Bank Organic Farm Farmers' Market will return after the Summer recess. Just off the Congleton to Macclesfield Road, down Shellow Lane, this established and popular market is easy to find. There will be a good range of producers - fresh and baked items, crafts, plants and flowers - loads of choice to allow you to skip that supermarket shop. Chocolates by The Chocolate Tailor for yourself, or for gifts - do email me if you require a special gift for a friend or relative.

Sunday 19 September
Off to The Hayfield Show at High Peak. A great country show with sheepdog trials, activities and events for all the family. Also a farmers market and stalls - find me in the Craft Marquee (on the side of a steep hill) - let hope for a dry day.
Friday 24, Saturday 25 and Suinday 26 September
A riot of producers will be at the Nantwich Food Festival - throughout the town there will be food and drink events, stalls, and activities Do look at www.nantwichfoodfestival.co.uk for more info about the weekend. I am looking forward to being there and to meeting lots of new people - hopefully chocoholics!

Saturday 2 October
A popular and established market at Rode Hall, Scholar Green just off the A34 Newcastle to Congleton road. Plenty of fresh food, baked produce, crafts, plants and treats for all your needs - many people come here rather than trailing around the supermarket on a Saturday morning - much more enjoyable. Come and talk to the people who CARE about their product.
Sunday 3 October
Junction 19, just off the A556 near Knutsford - the farmers market at Abbey Leys is a popular Sunday morning venue for a lot of local shoppers. There is a wide range of producers and a farm shop - call in for your veg, meats, eggs, cakes, desserts, sauces, pies, smoked fish, pickles and chutneys, pasta and sauces, and lots lots more inclujding handmade chocolates.
Saturday 9 October
Sandbach is hosting its regular farmers market on the Cobbles by the ancient Cross - a good range of stallholders. Open at 9 am - 1.30 pm this lively market complements the atmosphere in the town and brings a little more interest to your Saturday shopping See www.sandbach.go.uk
